Is it possible to schedule a vibrating alert and open an app on Apple Watch (similar to the Timer app)?

Forums > watchOS

I'm working on a Pomodoro-style app for myself. To create a kind of prototype, I tried to recreate the Timer app (from Apple) for watchOS. I am stuck on 2 things:

  • Can I schedule an app to open (instead of using simple scheduled notification), like the original timer app is launched, when the timer is completed?
  • How to add vibration when the timer is off?
