Ultimate Portfolio App: Cleaning up Core Data, Examples

Forums > Articles

Hi Paul,

I use your approach with the Core Data Helpers in my personal app. The example variable with an object in memory is really neat. But I have to call the save method of my in memory data controller before I return the object, otherwise the data is not filled in the SwiftUI preview.

Anyone else experience this or is it an oversight in your tutorial?

I have the same problem. Saving the context before returning made things better in Static Preview but still seems not quite right when you put it in "Live Preview" mode.

Dear hatsushra, i faced the same issue first time, then every time i used to keep the loop to save the changes.
